Got [raw] milk?

I have been buying raw milk from a local dairy farm for about six months now. Last week I decided I wanted to meet the farmer and the lovely Jersey cows who give me such delicious milk. I drove down to Baldwin Brook Farm and helped out with the morning chores.

First I fed these angels.

Then we collected eggs and fed the hens.

After that, I got to meet my milkers!

Mavis (the farm owner) delivers the milk to some of the local markets around town.

And there you have it, folks! That’s where milk comes from. Go meet your farmer!
